What an awesome oppurtunity!!!! I was one of the seven designers chosen to design for Lisa Kettell. I am looking forward to creating with her unique enchanting items. I remember how excited I was when I got to meet her in 2009 at the ArtOpera of NJ. She was refreshing & fun loving. I instantly fell in love with her book "Altered Art Circus". I will forever be grateful for this chance to be on her design team for the next three months. Keep a look out on this blog for projects being posted.

A Mother's Love

And so the weight loss jouney begins.

Well, I am down 6.6 lbs in my first week with Jenny Craig and went down to a 14/16 pair of pants that I bought. I am nervous that this first week loss was possibly a fluke. I had a little set back on friday night. I did eat my jenny dinner at around 5pm and then went to a birthday party from 8pm to 12am. They had a buffet, I ate a little (not much) I stuck with the veggies and a small piece of chicken. I also had a smallish piece of cake. What was bad and my self control blew up was that I had a glass of wine and an appletini. I could not help myself and I know they were just empty calories. I did try to work all of it on the dance floor. I hope it worked.

Baby Gracie

16 Days and Counting

WOW. I cannot believe that I have made it this far. Baby Grace just doesn't want to come out. I guess she thinks it's warmer inside :) I've been having some wierd episodes and nothing consistant. I'm 1cm, which I know can last forever :) The getting up every 30 mins to go to the bathroom has started again. The pain in my back and hips have intesified and I can take diddly squat for it. My stomach is hard as a rock and I can't get up off the couch without a considerable effort. I guess my first pregnancy was blessed since I did not make it this far to feel the true crappiness of pregnancy.

I will end my rant like this, whoever tagged the phrase that pregnancy is beautiful and wonderful should be shot multiple times :)
